As a natural creative, I was always drawn to artistic projects. But lacking confidence, I followed the traditional four-year college path and earned my degree in Political Science with a focus on social change. While that work mattered to me, I quickly realized I wasn’t being creatively fulfilled.
That led me to open Excellent Aesthetics Print Shop on Etsy. For a while, I explored the digital art print market—but it wasn’t long before I began to feel creatively constrained. Selling mass-produced digital prints didn’t capture the bold, colorful, maximalist vision I had in mind.
So I went back to the drawing board. I taught myself brand and marketing strategies, leaned on my background in social impact, and rebuilt my business from scratch. What emerged was Excellent Aesthetics Art: a brand dedicated to colorful wall art, elegant maximalism, and sustainable creativity.

Excellent Aesthetics Art is owned, operated, and curated by me — Stevie Sobers, a self-taught Bay Area artist creating colorful, maximalist wall art designed to spread unbounded creativity into homes and spaces around the world.

I currently specialize in digital and acrylic mediums, with a focus on funky florals, bright abstracts, and bold maximalist styles. These playful, expressive designs open the door to unwavering creativity and self-expression.
For a long time, I hesitated to pursue art professionally because I felt pressured to create “perfect” and “pretty” pieces. But I’ve learned to embrace the fact that I’m not a type A personality. I’ve been called messy or disorganized more times than I can count—and now, that’s exactly what fuels my work. My art reflects the beauty of chaos: vibrant, layered, and unapologetically outside the lines.
In addition to wall art, I also offer custom art commissions, including hand-painted wall murals and acrylic canvas paintings. Each project is designed to bring personality, color, and creativity into your space—because more is more.
